I can't find a copy of the study on the internet, but I seem to have remembered that the mercury and heavy metal levels in urine was increased after cilantro consumption in this study, which would have scientific validity.

I was also seem to recall that several patients were monitored during this study, not just one. I need to find a copy again and read it to be sure. I will post the result when I do locate it ( as long as they are not charging an arm and a leg to download the paper ).

In any case, Cilantro gives me and many other people the same symptoms as the other chelation agents and I am definately heavy metal poisoned. I don't know why, but it seems to be doing something to release heavy metals.

But I would say this about cilantro. Cilantro HAS been shown with research to have strong Antibiotic properties. Perhaps cilantro "kills" bacteria that holds onto or prevents the body from releasing mercury.

As for the statement concerning that the

Maybe I missed something, but I'm not sure where scientology comes into the discussion about cilantro and detoxification. I know they do have a program ( I got a flyer about it in my yard ). But I can't comment on it, since I don't know what it entails.

I will say this however. I see a Naturopath, and I do pay him several hundred dollars a month that is not covered by insurance. But I'm happy to do so because he has helped me more than the "thousands" of dollars I spent ( along with the insurance companies money ) with allopathic medicine and doctors.

And I definetely had problems. The Heavy metals caused me to break out in hives ( almost from head to toes ), severe acid reflux, chronic inflamation of the GI tract, and severe eczema along with another dozen symptoms I won't get into here. I had some of the best endocrinologists, immuniologists, neurologists and GI doctors in my area and dozens of tests showing my system was chronically hyper-reactive, and my liver was being damaged.

Not a single one of these doctors suggested or even considered heavy metals or parasites, both which were problems for me.

I didn't get any relief from my health problems, until I started thinking "outside" the box and gave alternative medicine a try. Not every truth or fact in the universe can be supported by a scientific paper. This is one of the realities of life I've learned from this whole experience.
