Why do you "believe" cilantro mobilizes mercury? And if it does not have at least a weak chelating affect how could it do so. It does seem to make people quite sick. This would require a completely new theory, maybe a Nobel prize here. Recomending cilantro which is unproven while recommending IP6 which seems to have some scientific basis seems a bit of a contradiction. And If IP6 is a chelator that crosses the BBB why is there any necessity to take cilantro.
YOu state,
"In the absence of a chelant, the liberated mercury species will migrate to another location and settle there." In my opinion while some of the mercury will settle in another location, which is always the case anyway, some will be removed from the body through its natural chelation mechanisms, such as sulfur molecules.
