Re: Help poor Molly!!!

"Once you chose to feel better you felt better."

isnt feeling better the point. that means that whatever you did actually worked. even the placebo effect is real. it is a real effect. people can get as well on a placebo as on some drug. how nice to judge your success as a failure right off the bat. "youre cure is a fake cure." sure it is. how does one tell the difference between a real and a fake cure? brainwashing works, too. thats why millions of dollars are spent on advertising. just because someone believes something, does that make it true? well yes in a way it does. if you believe in something it is probably going to work. if you dont believe in something, it is likely not to work.

"Alternative medicine at best does little and is a crutch that people
to make them feel healthy, at worst it's fatal and expensive advice
given to the desperate. The sites you posted is just a small example
of the deception and trickery that they use to make people buy their
products."

hhhmmmm. isnt feeling healthy the same as being healthy? granted, there can always be underlying disease being kept at bay in the body, but this is what everyone calls being healthy - being symptom free. and laugh of all laughs, thats all allopathic medicine treats is symptoms and never looks for an underlying cause, unless of course there is money in going after it(read: american cancer society). which brings up another point - money. now i am rolling in the floor. if the treatments were expensive they would be mainstream practice! the information is free because no one is promoting it(besides Kevin Trudeau ) therefor the market for it is small. there are no alternative health missionaries like the mormons send out two by two. when you hear of alternative treatments it is in the media and always failures or from an individual who has been so helped by just a little bit of knowledge and so cheaply and with such great effect that they feel and obligation to their family and friends and fellow human beings to share this information out of a sense of guilt for not trying to help. most of these contacts are blown off - who the heck is your brother-in-law to think he knows something doctors dont? and finally, fatal. fatal? what alternative treatment out there is fatal? the people that die seeking alternative medicine have: 1) been diagnosed with a fatal illness to begin with BY ALLOPATHS, 2) been treated to the fullest extent possible by allopaths and then given a death sentence, and 3)finally get to the clinic or practitioner or protocol so ravaged by their disease and the treatments they have one foot in the grave already.

so far totally falacious arguements are being made by your attacker. let me look once more and see if i can add to this.

nah. the rest of it is just his belief system. you are not going to change that. he really gives no arguement, just states his opinion(like it is meaningful to anyone but him). he is safe and secure in the world designed for him and he is uncomfortable with someone not living in that world with him. too bad.
