Re: Ortho-dichlorobenzene
Hi trapper :)
Dichlorobenzidine dihydrochloride was used as the yellow dye, in the old days when people used to mix the color into white oleo margerine in a squeeze bag.
That is why the product suddenly disappeared from the stores without a word or reason why.
Germany has outlawed the manufacture of Dichlorobenzidine dihydrochloride in their country.
They proved in a German court of law that it caused cancer in people.
UNLIKE GERMANY I'M GUESSING?
When our government tried to ban Dichlorobenzidine dihydrochloride in court, our government sent one doctor of chemistry (a relative of mine by marriage) and only one lawyer to prosecute.
The pharmaceutical company I worked for sent 56 lawyers from different law firms and their associate advisors and aides.
They completely filled the courtroom so there would be no room for outside observers or reporters. No can leak out of the courtroom to the public.
HOW CAN BIG PHARMA BE BEAT IN COURT? Now you know one way big pharmaceutical companies beat the government.
The doctor of chemistry could not believe what he was seeing. He was shocked the government only sent him and one lawyer. That the pharmaceutical completely filled the courtroom with legal representation!
