Oh, golly - brown rice is soooooooooo delicious!

It's great if you toast some almond slivers in butter, then add the brown rice, stir for a few minutes to lightly toast, then add the liquid and cook until it's done. Yummmmm!!

Or cook it with some curry powder, and stir in some cilantro when you serve it.

It goes great with beef, fish, chicken, etc. (if you aren't vegetarian)

Cook it plain, then stir in coconut oil, top with a steamed vegetable (my favorite is broccoli).

Make some dhal or kichadi to go on top of it.

Make a curry to go on top of it (thai curry, indian curry, malay curry, etc.)

BLACK BEANS (Louisiana style)

Stewed pinto beans with onions, with coconut oil and salt!!!!!!

Basically, any way you can think to make it. It goes great with everything!
This discussion has reminded me that I should eat brown rice more often.
