Re: ACV in some people?
Thanks for your replies, guys.
Round I go in circles, reading everything I can get my hands on.
My husband recalls twin sisters from his youth. They both wanted to lose weight, but one decided to use vinegar. She so hurt her digestive system that she couldn't recover.
Probably it wasn't apple cider vinegar that she used, but I'm finding that even two teaspoons, on a big salad, once in a day, is too much for me.
Last night I found this:
http://pages.britishlibrary.net/lobster/candida/diet.html ...in the Apple Cider Vinegar forum, of all places!
Reading through, and looking at other pages on the site, I found there is confusion on the usefulness of ACV, for some people.
I also found an interesting chart on all foods, written by one person about their own experiences with Candida.
I've looked at the possibility of Candida before, but somehow wandered away from it.
I guess the bloated abdomen is the number one signal.
They also mentioned that the liver needs to be clean, to overcome Candidiasis. Mine isn't. And they note the value of a peaceful mind to wellness. In fact, they give a nice exercise, step by step, for relaxation and quiet meditation...the best I've ever seen.
My husband and I find the rhythms of the Warrior Diet very attractive, to us. So we've begun that. Apparently one has to experiment and refine one's diet to manage Candida overgrowth, as well.
I had good luck eliminating one very large calcified gallstone, easily, with large salads dressed with olive oil and lemon juice. Since citrus can irritate some people, and apples are too sweet, I'm going to have to make a careful plan.
As I say, I appreciate the simple, understandable, information on pancreatic enzymes provided by Mike at
//www.curezone.org/forums/mp.asp?f=745&i=149 No wonder we have problems digesting!
And I have three other very likely courses of action, that I haven't talked about much.
I certainly wish some kind of expert were willing to work closely with people, for an affordable fee.
So, back to the drawing board!
My best,
