You confirm my suspicions that these might not be what they appear.

Two other clues:

Someone, somewhere, mentioned that they might be a microscopic 'something' under the skin, and not too important. Yet I'm sure they are on the legs as related to inactivity. Like sitting and posting, for example. (Hm-m-m...)

An overweight man on a TV show about dieting, had them, exactly the same as mine. I didn't see the later shows to see if his reduced.

Shall we try White Tiger's bleaching suggestions? Maybe we can help solve this.

Oh yes, I'm 68. They started when I was about 46, during a time of stressful, but necessary, change.
