pineapple smooties before or after high protein meals?
the enzmes are super protein digestants i know that already, just curious if it's more beneficial to take it prior to high protein meals or after?
before ,i would assume that it would prime the enzmes so that they are already present as i am eating the food..but would'nt that alkanize the stomach enviroment or does pineapples go into the acidic fruits anyways and helps out the acidity of the stomach fluids? or afterwards,where the enzymes directly interact with the proteins and digest them with the meats.I am gonna go ahead and try during the meal,sipping it with the meats- maybe that will work best.I may add raw papaya to the mix- i also heard that raw papaya is also an excellent protein digestant!
