Re: Mysterious appendages
That makes sense. I think that's one reason guys are considered "smellier" than girls, they have that body hair to trap in the moisture and so on. Even if they cake on the deodorant, the pit hair doesn't let it fully do its job. Which is a blessing in a way, knowing what we know about deodorant, but that's a different topic.
I know that some girls are grossed out by guy's back hair and chest hair. So shaving it off could very well be a good thing! For example, I had one roommate in college who claimed that whomever she married, if he had any back hair at all, that he MUST keep it waxed, and probably the chest hair, too. She thought chest and back hair was gross.
In a similar vein, the armpit hair on a guy is kinda gross. It's natural and normal for a guy to have it, but still, when I see a guy lift his arm and there is all this hair sprouting out... yuck! Those handsome guys in the magazine such as body builders don't have all the hair and they are hot! If there is no hair, I don't notice that it's missing. But if it is THERE... then I might notice. A lot of athletes shave off their body hair too. No biggie.
Now along the line of weirdness, no you haven't crossed it yet. Shaving the arms and legs is kinda iffy but pits chest and privates no biggie.
So it might help if you are/become really athletic, but I don't see a problem with shaving (or waxing) off all the body hair that you please. Smooth, touchable (preferably lightly tanned) skin is attractive!
It really does depend on the girl, though. Some will just think it's weird if a guy shaves anything besides his face/head.
Maybe you should poll all those girls chasing you! Majority vote wins! haha
