Re: The Importance of Enzymes.
Dear San,
Last question first: Go to the Eczema forum
here at CZ, and post your question about
eczema to Aunty. She is very knowledgable
and very pleasant. Title your post, "Question
for Aunty." Before that, you should read some
of her R/N posts about eczema.
Antibiotics kill off all the good bacteria
in your intestinal tract, which makes digestion very difficult. You were doing fine
until you went back on the
Antibiotics .
Then all your symptoms returned.
Here's what I would do, if I were you, San.
For the next 3 months -- till June 8th -- become a vegetarian. No meats, no processed
foods, and little or no dairy. You can eat
an organic yogurt every day, but stay far
away from milk and ice cream. Try to eat
mostly living foods.
With each meal, take one (1) digestive enzyme and one (1) probiotic. Buy some organic sauerkraut at your health food store, and add
a spoonful of it to your dinner. Sauerkraut
is fermented. It's good for your digestive
tract. So is Miso, if you can find it.
Don't take any
Antibiotics . Tell your doctor,
"No more!" I'd look around for a naturopathic
doctor (ND). I'd also put your child on the
same eating regimen. Drink fresh juices
every day; fruit one day, and veggies the next
day. Try to find organic living food, if at
all possible. Keep drinking lots of water,
and give the child plenty of water.
I think you'll both feel much better in 3 months. I will keep you both in my prayers.
Give us some feedback on how you're doing.
Blessings,
Owen
