Avoid degreasing agents - eg. reduce bathing, avoid too high water temperature in bath, reduce duration, avoid soap and bath additives (especially foam bath) other than oily emollients.

Psoriasis is a obstinate skin condition in which the red patches of
various sizes skin develops on the skin that are covered with dry,
silvery scales. Psoriasis is a chronic skin disease that got its
name from the Greek word meaning, "itch."
In Psoriasis the skin becomes inflamed and red eruptions appear on
the surface of the skin that begin to itch excessively. These areas
form thickened areas (plaques) that are covered with silvery scales
over the reddened lesions.

In patients with psoriasis, The need forSulphur is indicated when skin is dry,
scaly, and unhealthy; every little injury suppurates. Skin ailments
are associated with lot of itching and burning that becomes worse on
scratching and washing. Itching more in the evening. Skin
excoriations especially in folds. Skin becomes dry and hard. Feeling
of a band around bones. Skin affections that develop after local
medication. This remedy is more suited to thin and weak individuals
who are very sensitive to heat.

REMEDY:

One dose of Sulphur 200 and repeat the same after 7 days. ( more may be needed if the condition is wide spread and severe )

Apply Aloe Vera Gel to all the dry and damaged skin areas.

Lotion Recipe Tip.
Aloe Vera gel is sold in jugs these days and it can be the makings of a great moisturizer. All you have to do to personalize it, is to add a few drops of your favorite natural essential oil to the gel to make an all-over moisturizer.

Also drink some Aloe Vera juice each day.
