In supplement form, vitamin E raises your cholestorol most likely because of the Soya bean oil base its in. As for vitamin C, you can take up to ridiculous amounts every day, some guy called Paulings in fact reccommends 18 g a day standard. Not that I'll be taking that, every day I take more vitamin C, the better I feel, it has something to do with clearing away Lp(a) plaque I believe. I've literally been through every vitamin and mineral there is (or very nearly, certainly vitamins) and vitamin C is the only one which has this effect. I think, for me, herbal teas work when they have some of the vitamins I need in them or something but simply put Vitamin C has been the most resoundingly effective and I still don't even completely fathom why. Cheers for the warnings though.
