I have a condition that causes me to lose zinc easily in my urine. My health problems had been from a zinc deficiency over a long period. I had been taking Zinc Piconate for the last month at 100 mg and before then about 30-45 mg a day for about 2-3 months. I still fail the taste test, yet my health is definetly improving as a result of the supplementation. I went into the health food store and asked for the best zinc available and they point me to something made by "MegaFood" called Zinc Daily foods, basically its food condensed in pills that contains 22.5 mg of zinc per pill. Does say what type of zinc though. She said the its better because more of it is absorbed. Dunno? Do you? Also when I try kinesiology (not sure if I'm doing it right) I test for 200 mg. That sounds like alot. Also I am a male I know we need more zinc.
