Re: Is 100% Raw Diet really best? (survey)

I think everyone should listen very carefully to their bodies, and if at a particular time you are called to eat mostly Raw foods, then you may very well need that, for cleansing and nutritional purposes. However, I have given a lot of thought to eating a raw foods diet- I'm about 95% Vegan- and it just does not appeal to me at all. It just seems to be too stressful on my body, and too stressful on my mind. Although during the summer I naturally increase my Raw load, and have been eating lots of salads already and loving them. I think there is a lot to learn from Raw foods, but I find that I resonate more with a traditional Chinese medicine approach- which promotes foods which are BOTH warming and cooling, building and cleansing. Ying and Yang... balance... it just makes sense.
