I agree, there is a balance. But the body needs fiber, vegetables, certain Omega fatty acids, etc. that mainly come from raw foods. Not cooking the living daylights out of your food is a good thing and people need to be taught that over cooking vegetables can deplete them of any nurtitional value. There is a website that talks about why not to cook, and if you do how long to do it for so your foods are still nutrient rich.
