Re: in ER last night

sunne....Why don't you ask the doctor to put a heart monitor
on you for a couple of days. If it is happening fairly often...
the heart monitor will catch it. And they can see what's going on.

Are you going to a "heart doctor"..or just a family doctor? You
probably need a heart doctor on this one...just to be sure.

I've worn the heart monitor about 5 times in my life. I have
a minor heart problem...called mitral valve...nothing serious
...but enough that I've taken meds for it since 1986. Mine
will roll...just out of the clear blue sky....and you feel
panic when it happens...because ... even though it's just a
few seconds...it seems like forever. I get weak and dizzy if
mine rolls for very long...longer than a couple of seconds.

It IS a very un-nerving feeling. I hope if you haven't already...you will see a heart doctor (with a good reputation)
and ask to wear a heart monitor for a couple of days. Your
insurance should hopefully cover the cost of the monitor.
Keep us posted. kathryn
