Re: More facts about cellulite
I agree with all of the above. I have had cellulite since I was a teenager, even though I was thin. Not sure the reasons for this, but as mentioned, probably hidden issues.
Like a couple of you, I gained weight suddenly after the end of a relationship. But I never felt I had changed my eating habits; if anything my eating habits were better after the relationship. I am sure it was emotions; there were SO many issues in my life at that time.
I do also believe genes play a parts too. Some people, like me, develop very large arms; others don't. Where the cellulite goes may be genetic.
I truly hope we are on the right track with lots of good fats may help. I thought fats were an issue in my diet, but as I am learning more, I am not taking in enough good fats (bad fats have been eliminated some time ago). So I am working on the fat issue, supplementing with salmon oil caps and coconut oil and cod liver oil.
I have never had dry skin. I am 55 and my skin in normal to oily, so I guess I don't fit that profile.
Now.......more questions. Does it help to "flap" the cellulite as I rebound. Since my arms are at issue, I have been flapping them to feel the movement of the cellulite when I jump. Will this help? Also, will rebounding in many shorter sessions have the same effect as one long session?
Thank all of you for your comments, suggestions, and theories! This has been very helpful!
