Re: cellulite and rebounding
to dianna607 : oil is very helpful when used on wet skin because it can actually get into yr skin pores. If cellulite is there, then skin must be dry - so it happens. It is a bad circulation issue and moisturizing skin helps fighting it from the outside .
Using oil you can easily give yourself a deep, gentle massage, which is helpful to improve circulation.
Moreover, you might add essential oils ( I heard of juniper and tangerine are especially good for cellulite ) to your usual massage oil. Do not towel, apply oil and slap dry. It works.
to bluandyelo : I think cellulite can start for many different reasons. When I got it I was very depressed . it started suddenly, within a month. Causes: failure of a relationship, inner feelings of guilt, overeating of sweets, hormonal unbalance. But IMO, disease is triggered by the mind, every other issue is already a symptom . Anyway II gained 20 lbs of weight in 4-5 weeks, it was all edema / water retention, I felt like a stuffed penguin, suddenly looking twice as big than usual ( always been slim). I got more and more depressed and went nearly anorexic for 1 year, eating very little and avoiding dairy, meat and oily foods. But cellulite did not go away because of diet improvements! It went more and more hard and stubborn instead .Moreover, I had horrible skin and lost my hair.
Now I am finally almost well doing , I eat everything ( but never overeat), had good results against cellulite . That is why I do believe it has little to do with wrong diet, it is likely related to binge and overeating rather than to wrong food choices . I also know some women who eat really BAD but they do not have it, and they all are aggressive and selfish people. Being insecure is the main issue I think.
I also believe that good oils like olive or coconut oil can actually be useful against cellulite
and somehow I 'sense' that high fat (good fat!) diet might help getting rid of it.
Thinking a lot about cellulite and feeling sad about it actually makes it WORSE.
