My daughter has what her MD calls a Ganglion Cyst on her thigh. It has been growing larger for about a year. He's not worried about it and says it's harmless. It does not hurt her, but is unsightly and she constantly is touching it and wondering about it. I've read on the Net that they can be asperated with a needle. Then if they come back they should be removed which requires a surgery because the roots go deep into the tissue. It is hard about the size of a dime, but raised about 1/4 inch. Lately it's been turning red and blue in color.
Is there an alternative therapy to rid her of this cyst? Some sort of cream, lotion, poltice, etc. that we can use for her?
