Re: Chinese Bitters & progesterone cream?

Interesting!

I'd trust the psychic myself - but then, I'm biased, as I've worked as a psychic LOL!

I read up on the hypothalamus et al and it seems anythign you do for that issue is a kind of HRT which only hurts you over time. :( You may want to take licorice and gotu kola for about two weeks, as you probably need just a few estrogenic tonics to make up for all that exercise.

So focusing on the liver, besides the Chinese Bitters and flushes, have you done/taken anything else? I like to recommen a complex of B vitamins, MSM, Lecithin, and also herbs such as Bupluerum, Dandelion, Milk Thistle, but the Bitters should be fine for that. What about the Coptis (inceases bile) or Curcoma (sp?) that Julia has? Did you ask about those? Beets are also quite cleansing, but don't over do. :)

There's also a liver-supporting diet:

I also get the feeling that the reason the exercise did you in so badly is because it was wrong for your blood type. I'm a Type 0, so strenuous, as long as it's for short periods, is great for me, but highly detrimental for the other blood types. Yoga is great for any blood type, and if you get the right teacher, isn't exactly the easy, boring yoga of yesteryear! It's quite continuous and really heats up the body. It will also help balance out your sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems, which is an issue for hypothal people.

Hope that helps! :)
