Re: AVOID getting this weeks fake panic, the bird flu?? I'll tellyou what.........
>- What method did you use to arrive at information that no vaccines were available in 1918?
Again, I quote myself:
>- Please tell me what company had the ability to manufacture a flu virus in 1918. You have been reading some false and misleading information.
While I did not state such, influenza vaccines were not available at that time according to any source that I have been able to find. Yes, the original smallpox vaccine was discovered in 1796 by Edward Jenner. This was the first vaccine among several that were available by 1918, but the influenza vaccine was not among them.
Louis Pasteur discovered the rabies vaccine in 1885.
If your are stating that the flu was disseminated as a contamination of other vaccines, I could buy into that but that is not what any of the articles that I read stated or implied. They claimed specifically implied that the cause was the administration of a flu virus which is not true. I will yield the point if you can provide any proof that any company or organization was producing a flu
vaccination at any time prior to 1920.
>- Does this distract or dissuade you from the overall truth about vaccinations
No, I do not take any flu
vaccination or most others but while
vaccinations have cause many problems and even deaths, they have saved many more than they have lost. The main problem with
vaccinations are contaminations, both intentional ( such as the mercury in thimoserol ) and unintentional ( such as foreign and active viri ).
>- not to benefit anyone else, certainly not the recipient whose immune systems are suppressed.
I beg to differ with you. When properly manufacturered, a vaccine can save many lives and reduce suffering. When vaccines fail, someone has not done their job properly and they should be held accountable. Not everyone has had their immune system suppressed from immunization. Diptheria, Petussus, Tetanus, Polio, Smallpox, and many other illnesses have been reduced to very minor possibilities where
vaccination for these illnesses as common. In comparison, they generally cause eppidemics where the vaccines are not available or common. Look at the problems in countries such as Nigeria.
>- British medical Journal in January 1976 stated: "It is now accepted that the risks of routine smallpox vaccination outweigh those of natural infection in Britain
Yes, by that point in time, the use of smallpox vaccination had virtually irradicated smallpox from the fave of the earth. The only people who caught smallpox between 1972 and 1976 were the few who had not been innoculated. If anyone thinks that the smallpox vaccination program was not a complete success, I would like to hear their theories on what happened to smallpox and why the innoculated had 1/1000 th of a chance of getting smallpox compared to ones who did not.
The same is demonstratably true for polio vaccinations. While some vaccinated individuals did develope mild polio infections, the percentages are far lower than those who did not. Also, the vaccinated had far milder symptoms than the non vaccinated subjects did.
Today, most of the US is vaccinated against polio and the disease is rare. In comparison, many in Nigeria are not vaccinated and because of this, the disease is rampant.
