there is no other book that is as comprehensive as trudeaus book. it covers most of what has been written about by other authors over the years. you know full well that people neither have the time nor inclination to sort through the hundreds of works (which trudeau refers to) that are available in bookstores and on the web.

i consider "natural cures..." a laymans guide, a starting point if you will, from which one can get acquainted with the myriad of theories and treatment methods available to stop, prevent or reverse disease. consider it a convenient one-stop source which lays everything out and takes away most of the confusion, and it becomes well worth the price paid.

factor in other tidbits available in the book and you may find you made out like a bandit. for example, im sure there are books that examine in detail, provide hard evidence and substantiate everything that trudeau talks about in chapter 1. however, i've never come across any of these books. thanks to trudeaus book im now much more well-informed and can spread the word about the improprieties occuring within the ftc and fda as a result of their relationship to the food and drug industry. trust me, this is a very important chapter to read as knowledge is key to preventing continued deterioration of america's health.
