Wait a minute! WE'RE SCORNFUL??? Lapis is the one who said there should be a debate forum called "Christianity: Mental Disorder?".

So why are you blaming me, and my fellow Christians, for not being a good sport, and a fair debater. Your criticisms should be directed towards Lapis, not me!

You seem to find it a personal assault on your psyche or emotions whenever someone mentions God or Jesus. You are so blinded by your hatred of them that you don't even see the point I was trying to make. Granted, my faith is a big part of me, in fact I'm nothing without it, but I was actually making a point about how I don't think gays should be able to marry each other like men and women. I think marriage should be sanctioned for just men and women. I think being gay IS taboo. I think being gay is wrong. Yes, my faith has A LOT to do with my opinion, and as you know I am a Christian. BUT, if I said I still felt that was about gays, but I wasn't a Christian, and didn't mention God, you would not be nearly as angry and belligerent towards me. You would actually think about what I said and answer the question respectfully.

I have a whole host of words, jokes, and nasty terms for gays, lesbians, new agers, atheists, and the like that I could use, or squirm into a post covertly, such as Lapis did, but I don't because I am trying to keep in the spirit(can I use that word?)of fair debate. "Challenge the post, not the poster" or something like that.

But some of the posters here, including yourself, are easily distracted when I mention God. It's as if you have a one-track mind about people who believe in Him. You can't take it. But if YOUR faith is so great, why are you so threatened by mine????

Hopefully, future posts, should I decide to post/read the posts will have a better atmosphere of respect and decency. I'm off to the Support Forums that I mainly go to. Have a Nice Day.
