SIBO stands for small intestine bacterial overgrowth. It may be related to candida but it isn't the same thing necessarily. It occurs when colon bacteria begins to grow in the small intestine in large amounts. Please refer to some of my previous posts as I have included links to sites that give a lot of detail about this condition and how to diagnose and treat it. I, for one believe it can make a world of difference.
