I believe that you may have been confused by what you read.

A radioactive for of cesium is use by conventional oncologists to treat certain cancers. This is not the same as natural cesium which is not radioactive.

Natural cesium is an alkaline metal in the same group as Lithium, Sodium, and Potassium but it enters cancer cells more freely to alkalize them.
