Re: Urine therapy/To Joy1975

As hard as it is - you MUST try to be optimistic. Dogs pick up on our fear, our anxiety, our terror and our sadness, as well as all positive emotions. The more distressed you become the more distressed your dog will be. If you give up on her, she will give up on herself.

One of the things I learned quickly was when I began to be upbeat about Lucky's health she improved quite a bit. Yes, I know she might succumb to the cancer but since I've decided to fight it as best as I know how to and be optimistic and hopeful her mood has improved greatly as well. Additionally in my case all the medication I am giving her is helping her immune system.

I cried for 7 days straight when I got the diagnosis, then I pulled myself together and started searching high and low for alternatives - I cried some more and then I realised I am helping her more by being focused on healing her.

All the best to you & your loved Samoyed.
