Primary Liver Tumors

Hi. I dont know if anyone will be able to help (its probably a long shot) but if not could anyone please point me in the right direction? I have just lost one of my gorgeous Samoyed dogs to a Primary Liver Tumor/Cancer due to the the over-prescribing of vetinerary pesticide treatments. I was heartbroken. My other dog (another Samoyed) is dying also from the exact same symptoms within weeks of my other dog. My question is does anyone know if Milk Thistle would be suitable to give for the liver when there are liver tumors? Obviously dogs are not humans but has anyone on here used Milk Thistle themselves for liver cancer? I dont want to "nourish" the tumor if that is possible. Any thoughts, info would be much appreciated. Thank you
