Re: Superhero.....

I had a friend with the same situation. Somehow, she thought that her chances of survival were 25% (her onc gave misleading info), then they were effectively 0 from day 1. I could not convince her to take aggressive nutritional approach, and perhaps you will not be able to either.

Tell him to ask the Dr. for absolute survival stats for the pancreatic cancer regimen. If he understands that chemo offers him little more than extreme pain no chance of cure, perhaps he will consider alternatives.

I still recomend the book "The Cancer Batle Plan". It was written by a woman who was failed by the medical establishment, and sent home to die. Her story of recovery is inspiring, and the book can be read in a few hours. As I said, this book opened my eyes to nutritional therapy after my devastating cancer diagnosis. It might help your friend to see that the only hope he has is to take control of his situation, and fight.
