I had a bump on my forehead. Went to Derm who said it was a cyst. I chose to have it removed for cosmetic reasons, turned out to be benign tumor.

The moral of the story: Growths can be indicative of a problem that may be existent or forming (perhaps serious). When they can be easily removed surgically, it is best to do so. Remember the old saying, a stitch in time, saves nine!
