I just got it! Here's what is off for me...and take it with a grain of salt

The moderators participate in the same forums that they moderate and being human I think the 2 influence one another- so rather than new moderators, perhaps if you are a particpator that feels strongly about some subjects peopl places etc, than moderating may have it's conflicts and opinions -and these are seen in some of the way some of the forums are moderated

Sorry to pick on Aye and Janaki, but that was a prime example -not just a couple a times but often, of how a moderator assumes ownership and then breaks all the rules themselves...this is what is off for me and i am sorry to beat up that example but that is the forum I have the most expertise and interest in- that is what ha sme going...Thanks
