Read the blood type diet

In "Eat Right 4 Your Type" by Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo, there is ample evidence that milk may be bad for certain blood types and good for others. My husband and I started following it a couple of months ago and found that certain foods along with milk increase mucus production for him. When he stopped most dairy products he no longer awoke in the morning having to blow his nose or cough up phlegm. I thought this was pretty astonishing.
According to D'Adamo the lectins in foods react differently in the various blood types, agglutinating cells and increasing white blood counts as the body detects the foods as invaders.
My sister has lost over 12 lbs, and her husband lost 20 lbs in 3 weeks! I was astonished to say the least. The book was not written as a weight loss guide, but obviously works as such. He feels clearer, happier, much more energetic,and upper back pain has subsided. Curiously he was eating almost everything from his avoid list in an effort to be healthy and lose weight (avocado, alfalfa sprout sandwiches along with many other things).
There are plenty of dairy products that are beneficial for the various blood types, but not for type A's...which is my husband's blood type. I choose not to drink milk and to limit my dairy intake because I do not want all the junk put into it during processing, and because the poor cows are so mistreated. Take a look at "Diet for a New America" a video by Tony Robbins. It sure made my beef and dairy loving husband rethink his diet.
As a final note, my father is fit as a fiddle and pushing 80, has always consumed lots of milk and ice cream even though he shouldn't according to D'Adamo. However, he has led a very healthy lifestyle and has done many things right...especially plenty of exercise, fresh air, sunshine, no junk food, alcohol, or smoking! I just wonder how long he would live if he followed the
Blood Type Diet ...only he would never believe that certain foods he loves are bad for him.

The Master Cleanse lemonade drink twice daily and has completely cut out any distilled liquor in favor of wine or beer as hard liquor should really only be used as a cleaner/disinfectant!!!
Hulda Clark has a good recipe in Cure for All Diseases using Vodka and lemon peels! Also, he is drinking Superfood in the mornings and he and his wife have both started juicing. If only everyone were so open to dietary change with such dedication!
I've digressed, but I strongly recommend reading the
Blood Type Diet for some very convincing and scientific research on the effects of foods on the different blood types. It has put a pause on my complete conversion to a vegetarian lifestyle (I may still decide to completely cut out animal products, but for now I'm still researching and experimenting with my own body...as well as slowly switching to a totally organic diet).
