I've suffered from something on my scalp for years. I call it the creeping crud. I've seen the big red blotchy sores of Psoriasis on folks arms and legs.
This stuff on my scalp is like cradle cap on a newborn baby. I can dig my fingernail into my scalp and come up with yellowish hard stuff under my fingernails. It's itchy but not red and blotchy.
Could this be another type of psoriasis? I use tar shampoo and a very light dab of cortizone. It soon goes away. Winter is worse when I can't get in the sunlight, so I have to be diligent with the tar treatment and I survive.
Does this sound like another form of Psoriasis to you? Thanks. Sal
