I know! I've read that too about estrogenic foods/herbs being good because of the adaptogenic effects they have on the body. It's hard to figure it out. I guess the best bet is to go by how your body responds and feels. I can't see how carrots, lemons and flaxseeds would be hard on the liver either. I took a bottle of Chinese bitters a while back. I was planning on doing another bottle and the coptis to see if that would do the trick for me. But I don't have the $60 right now. I'm going to a free workshop about hormones on the 16th so I hope to find out some good info.
