Re: Sodium benzoate & citric acid in aloe - bad news?

Hmmmmm, that's really interesting, thanks SqueakyClean! I thought sodium benzoate was bad and thought citric acid was a hidden source of MSG....and I've just opened the bottle and had some :(
I've just been reading about a new Aloe product called Aloeride which is suppose to be far superior than any other one...as all companies claim ;) It's in capsule form...you don't have to keep it in the fridge, it has no preservatives at all and it has a shelf life of 2 years.....however it's £18 for 28 caps!! Not sure what technology has been used on those!
How would you get juice/gel from a plant?....split the leaves open?
Thanks
Anne
