One of my theories about dysbiosis is this; parasite, bacteria or other presistent agent causes the immune-system to remain active. Amoung these[immune]cells are granulecytes. These cells carry cytotoxic compounds such as lysosomes ect. These 'granules' end up circulating everywhere and especially at the site of chronic infection. The granules are toxic to bacteria, [well...they are basically antibiotic] and other tissue cells of the body. So, this causes an imbalance to occur. Once the pathogen, or parasite is eliminated, the flora should very quickly return to normal. Shroom
