Re: Sinus Infection.. What to do?
this is a post from someone else, but i have been following it for some time now and it really works, maybe it will help you?
Dear Friends,
The very first treatment I started with a year and a
half ago when I
began
UT, was the irrigation of my sinuses. I was suffering
from a sinus
infection
and I could not get any relief and was about to go to
my doctor for a
prescription of
Antibiotics (like I had done on all
other occasions).
I warmed some urine, used a small ear syringe bulb,
filled it with
the warm
urine (with my head back over the edge of my bed) and
literally
filled each
nostril with urine to the brim. I lay there for
several minutes and
just let it
soak in. I had the presence of mind to have a folded
towel ready,
because
when I sat up, the mucus flowed out and opened my
sinuses up
completely. I did this twice a day, and by the third
day all symptoms
were
gone. I have used it many times since then and I have
never had a sinus
infection since that time.
The process is without discomfort of any kind, unlike
salt water that
can
be quite harsh, and it is far better than snuffing
urine which I also
find
very uncomfortable. Also it reaches the deepest
recesses of the sinuses
and even flows into the ear canals. Also by moving
your head side to
side, or, laying on your stomach (when you fill your
nostrils) you
can let
the urine soak into the frontal sinuses in the cheek
bones and front of
the head. Try this you will see it really works very
well.
Also, empty out the medication on your Claritin
bottle, or what ever
misting solution you are using, rinse it well, and
fill it with fresh
urine.
You can use this several times a day if needed and
there is no rebound
effect as there can be with over the counter remedies.
Keep it in the
fridge
for up to 5 days then just rinse it out with hot water
and refill
with fresh
urine. I should also add, you can mist the urine right
into your open
mouth, while you breath in, and this will break up
bronchial congestion
very well. Misting also works very well with CS for
the nose and throat.
I can promise you, once you try this, you will never
buy an over the
counter remedy again.
And the nicest part about it is, you are using a small
container that
would
have ended up in the garbage anyway, and the urine is
absolutely free.
An empty misting bottle can be purchased from a
compounding
pharmacy or medical supply store.
Cheers,
Carl
