Fantastic thread. quinoa is great for vegan (re. protein) as it is a complete protien. A small handfull of nuts per day would give you all the protien you need. Unfortunately we are living in the not so great DIETRY DEVOLUTION age, where convenience and marketting are ruling the day. Some of us are naturally choosing to eat a proper, natural diet, while others (ahem) have been forced to via a horrible dis-ease (although I must say im quite grateful, as years of fastfood and other horrors would have kept me as a horrible looking moody pimpleman!)
