Re: why does candida overgrowth hit you after STOPPING antibiotics?

I've only ever taken short courses of anti-biotics maximum 2weeks, but I have always noticed worsening of digestive problems after taking them. I don't think that, in my case the anti-biotics are the cause. I definitely think that there is something in my genetic make-up which means that I cannot keep candida in check. I have four children and during the last trimester of two of my pregnancies all my candida related symptoms, constipation and digestive problems disappeared and I think that the babies were producing something - some enzyme or peptide or something which enabled my body to get rid of the candida, probably something which "normal" people naturally manufacture but I don't unfortunately. I think that because of that I will always have to stay on this diet.
