yes i agree. i think the reason i had the allergic reaction (rash from head to toe) from the diflucan was because my liver couldn't process it at all - and from what i was told diflucan is very harsh on the liver. i literally looked like i was severely sunburnt for two days all over. it was awful but it made me realize how stressed my liver really is right now. i just don't think i should start flushing my liver until i address my intestines first and clean up the bowel.
all i know is i do so much better when i am not popping all these damn pills and working on diet alone. so i am done with pills for awhile except for a good probiotic. now i am going to work on balancing my pH but sticking to foods that aren't high in sugar. i am going to slowly start eating some more fruit as time passes. i do eat it here and there but not on a daily basis. most foods on the alkaline side of the chart are foods you are supposed to eat on the candida diet anyways. you are supposed to do 75 percent alkaline 25 percent acidic to stay balanced.
but i totally agree with the liver being a key factor in all of the symptoms and i plan on addressing this in the new year. i just decided i need to work in stages and stop trying to do everything at once.
