Re: raw veggies vs cooked veggies?

Thank you! yes i definitely see undigested food in my stools - mostly when i eat raw veggies and almonds. i try to chew everything to a paste but sometimes i forget or am eating really fast because i am in a rush at work.

i have even still noticed leafy chunks in my stools from all of the soup i have been eating. man my intestines must be really messed up if i am not even digesting the veggies in the soup. well i had a slip over thanksgiving and ate a ton of junk and even though i have been back on the diet and feeling better again, i am not digesting as good as i was before thanksgiving.

i heard cooked carrots can really spike your blood Sugar or something like that but i have been eating them anyways.

for some reason i think i am the only person on this board that has gained weight and not lost it on this diet! i eat no bread, rice, grains of any type or refined sugars. but i think because i eat lots of nuts and yogurt made from half and half i keep the weight on. also i eat flaxseed oil in my yogurt and lots of olive oil on my salads. i must be taking in a TON of fat. at least it is the good kind of fat though! but i actually wouldn't mind losing a few : ) although some of the people on here really struggle to keep their weight up and i do feel bad for them.

thanks for your advice!
