I should just point out that some of the older candida books eg the Chaitow one I mentioned are out of date or just plain wrong eg he advises to avoid vinegar which is not true. Vinegar, esp apple cider vinegar is excellent for candida.

There are lots of other brains here worth picking too, with more experience than me.
