Re: Trouble Swallowing
Candida can cause mucous in the nasal passages, throat and lungs that blocks everything up. When I first started on my path of discovery I was coughing fleghm constantly and started using echinacea liquid by Zand, (be careful of some brands. Some companies are not careful about how they dry the herb and end up letting it rot in the sun or dryer. Some echinacea preps have actually made me sicker.) The Zand brand works for me. Echinacea is not something to stay on forever. I think the recommendation is no longer than 2 weeks.
When a sinus/throat sample is cultured and checked in the lab it usually comes back as some weird cousin to pneumonia if you have candidiasis... technical name I forget. In fact, it has pneumonae in the name. Has your regular doc (M.D.) taken a swab yet and sent it to lab? You could start there. Then you know if it's that weird stuff or not. This is what I had and I got rid of it w/o
Antibiotics using echinacea.
Also, I've had trouble swallowing when my iron is depleted. If you feel this might be the case, don't forget that iron assimilation is dependent on folic acid and B12 being present. I have to use the methylated form of B12. And I use betaine hydrochloride to carry the nutrients across the intestinal wall for absorption through the villi.
Hope this helps.
