That is pretty true when it comes to breads and pastas. Some folks have had luck with the alternative breads though, even though I can't handle them. What do you feel you are limited to? It is hardest at first, because we are such a bread-based nation. Once you get over that, it becomes easier. I get starch from legumes a lot. I use them in place of bread or white potato. Sweet potato is fine, if you like them. Until I realized I reacted to them, I used to use corn tortillas as bread. You may be ok with them. . . .
