High Price Of Meat

There is a cost physically (health of the carnivore and life of the animal) and a spiritual cost (karma).

One of the weakest arguements going is that we need meat for brain health. Two notable brains that didn't were Isaac Newton and Einstien, both famous vegetarians.

Then there is the industry flaunted (promotion/propoganda) myth that it is the only way to get good protein. Amino acids make protein. Animal protein does not equate to human protein. It needs to be broken down into its amino building blocks then reformed into human protein. Animal protein is not an efficient way to do this. Not by a long shot, and it comes with many unhealhty side effects.

Our digestive tract/enzyme system is not made to digest meat but is more suited to extracting aminos from plants to reconstitute into human protein.

Then there is the aspect of energy efficiency. It takes way more energy to extract aminos from animal protein and reconstitue them into human protein than it does from plant matter.

Entire books have been written by health notables such as Bernard Jenson on the aspect of bowel toxemia that comes about from meat eating and corelates with a myriad of disease.

Economically speaking, the energy it takes to produce animal food vs plant found is ridiculously high, not to mention the high amount of toxins emmitted in the process. The negative impact is very real and needs to be faced if we are to dig our self out of the toxic trap we currently find ourselves in. If we put our resources into raising plant food (without globalist intervetnion...chemical farms), we utilize clean production of food, healthier food, and we can actually feed everyone on the planet very easily and effectively. Loose the greed...feed the need.

Now the worst thing of all in my opinion is the ethical/spiritual nature of raising animals for food.

I'll let the following link do the talking in this regard.

Dietary Implications

Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds.
