Something i find that helps immensely is eating nuts/seeds, I especially use sesame as they're high in calcium & minerals (check a post I made above). I also usually add oily fish and sometimes eggs to the 'week before' regimen - but you cant have those ;) , so i'd stick with the nuts. I tend to use tahini - a sesame seed spread - a little bitter, but full o' goodness!! Just eat it off the spoon.
Actually, even though you can't have fish, you can have oils, so some good omega 3/6 oils would probably do the trick too. Flax, olive etc.
