"Pretty certain" will waste you time/life/money. Get tested. Spend the money whatever it costs. There are so many other things that could be causing your symptoms. You might have an ulcer/H. pylori bacteria/etc... (you can easily get tested for that too) or a myriad of other things... I am no doctor...

It's easy to get fixated or obsessed with the process of getting healed, especially if suffering and desperate. Better to identify the problem with 100% certainty and then treat it.
