It's so funny that you would ask if we miss food...hehe. What do you think we're eating? I guess what you mean is do we miss cooked food? I can only speak for me, but the answer is a resounding no! And believe me, no one likes to eat more that I do :)
When I eat cooked food now, I get a sore throat, and feel very mucousy, and I feel like I have a hangover. I feel lethargic and bloated. When I eat fresh food, I feel light as a feather, and happy, and just generally in love with life. And before I went raw, I *HATED* fruit - you couldn't get me to eat an apple unless it was dipped in caramel or chocolate, or baked in a pie, preferably topped with ice cream. Now, I crave apples - plain, ordinary old apples, and no way I would have believed this two years ago, while I was chowing down on burgers and pizza and pasta. I love all fruit so much now, and the most beautiful sight in the world to me now is a big bowl of spring greens and romaine lettuce, with some fresh fruit chopped up on top. I eat that kind of "fruit salad" almost every day...so good...
Those cooked things that I used to eat didn't make me feel good - *those* are the things that aren't "food" to me now. Fresh, vibrant, living fruits and vegetables and nuts....now that's food! Have you ever eaten a cheeseburger and then thought to yourself "Wow that made me feel fantastic"? I never did - those things only made me feel full, but never 'good'.
