How funny that we both got into such poor health the same way. I might try the garlic, though my baby might not appreciate it if it flavors my milk:)
I wonder if this information on fermented foods is just now going mainstream. I found a site, www.bodyecologydiet.com, that talks about using fermented foods to heal our "inner ecosystem." I've not read the book- just browsed through the site. Right now I'm happy with "Nourishing Traditions". But on the BED site they talk about using fermented foods to treat candida, autism, ADD, and other things. Very interesting. How much easier could it get to regain one's health?
