Re: Worried hypochondriac..should I even be worried?

Hi. Candida can be a tough one to erradicate, which is why you hear so many war stories about it. But, it is also present in different people to different degrees, so it is easier for some to get rid of it than others, as some may be absolutely ridden to the gills with it while others have a "slight" case. So, it is possible if you have a "touch" of candida that some of the health food store cleanses would be all you need. You could try and see if the stuff helps, if not move on to something else. There is a lot of great info here on stuff to try. I would really consider also adding in a refrigerated probiotic in any case. That will help keep it away and will help return your intestinal flora composition back to normal levels. If you have candida overgrowth, your flora is not at normal levels.

Symptoms of die off include nausea, fatigue, brain fog, sometimes allergic responses. Often, die off is a short period of time where your original candida symptoms, whatever they were, are exacerbated. So if you have nausea as a candida symptom,, for instance, you will have it worse for a few days. In my experience, die off for me starts at about day 6 on a new antifuungal. After I start the new antifungal, I feel better for about 5 days, then die off hits and lasts about 3-4 days. Then, I feel better afterwards.
