Re: book suggestion; it includes planning ahead for menus...

I am finding the book "Warming Up to Living Foods" to be very good in this respect. It has a 7 day meal plan, which you can mix up for variety. Each day, it tells you what you need to do to prepare for the next day, etc. For example, soaking seeds/nuts.

I have only tried two of her recipes so far, but next week I'll be making her cauliflower casserole. If it turns out well, I'll post the recipe!

Her recipes are meant for transitioning. Some are actually heated in an electric skillet on low. I don't even own a skillet, but the recipe sounds good, so I'm gonna try it. I'll just use my simmer only burner on my stove and will keep taking the pan off. I'm learning what 110 degrees feels like (testing with water and with my dehydrator), so I'll make sure it doesn't get cooked. But I am looking forward to a warm meal that is NOT soup!

Best wishes on your "journey to raw"

Rhonda
